    There is a serious issue that needs to be avoided!  People need to start using the crosswalks instead of jaywalking.  I have observed people who just walk across the road.  They sometimes say that there are no crosswalks in that area.  There lies another issue.  There should be more crossswalks in the street so that the people can get from one side of the street to the other side of the street safely.

     I believe that using the crosswalk can help the people walking stay safe, the people driving stay safe, and the crosswalks can save lives.  If people dont use the crosswalks they could get hit by a car.  Drivers might try to avoid the jaywalkers and put themselves at risk of getting hit by another car.  I believe that shortcuts dont always work in life.  Use the crosswalks!  You life could have just been saved every time you choose to use them.

     I saw that everyone had known about the accident.  What each person did; however, was differant.  Some people were crying, some people were mad, some people were sad, and some people didn’t do anything.  It was a very sad day.  The 8A team had a “release”.  They writen notes to Joanna then they burned the notes.

     I think that it does not matter if you knew her or not.  She lost her life.  I think that everyone who had known about it should have at least thoght about the sad accident.  They could have a moment of sadness for her.  I am glad that 8A had a “release” in memory of Joanna.  Today we said goodbye to a classmate , student,  and friend…Joanna.

      My favorite movies are any of the Sow movie series.  This movie was about a guy who kills people.  All of the movies have so much suspence in each scene.  It is also a very scary movie!  I really enjoyed watching this horror/thriller movie.

     I would have to say that it is an awesome movie exept for one thing.  It is rated “R”.  It is rated “R” because of all of the bleeding, deaths, killing, and many other scary things.  I would recomend tis movie to anyone who would want to watch a horror/thriller movie to watch.  That is why i like the “Saw” movie series.

     This topic is about bankruptcy in the government.  The date this was in the newspaper was November 4,2007.  There were many interviewed people.  The person that I quoted was Lean G. Maquera.  He stated, “If the people were smarter the elected officers wouldn’t be there.

I agree that the government is bankrupt.  I don’t ;however, that it is the people’s fault.  I think that if the the some of the people running wern’t such hippocrites they wouldnt be at the spot where they are now.  The people have just been tricked into believing what the governor said.  I think that was an understatement to the people.

Directions:Describe what did you sdo during the October 31st activity.  How can students activities be improved?

      I was at the gameroom during the activity.  I did nit really do anything, but sleep and eat icecream there.  There were many in the gameroom.  One of those students was Mark S.N.  He said, “I talked to my friends.”  There were many games avalible at the gameroom.

     Another person at the gameroom was Daniel S.  He said, “  I played games in the gameroom.  I won at the videogames.  I also talked to my friends.”  I then asked him what could they improve.  He said, ” They could have a computer room.”  I also think that they could improve the activities with computers with internet access.

Directions:What are the dangers for minors on the internet?   How can they protect themselves from these dangers.  What can schools do to protect their students from this danger?

      There are many dangers for minors on the internet.  One danger is that the minors may not know if who they are talking to is an online preditor ir one of their friends.  Another danger is that there are adds that sometimes download viruses onto the computer hardware, and the virus could permenantly damage the computer.  If these viruses damage your computer you could end up having to buy a new computer.

     There are also many ways to protect yourself from these online preditors.  For the online preditor, you should not give any information out if it is private to them or anyone for that matter.  Do not give out ways that the person you are chatting with could get to your home.  There are some very bad people in this world, but don’t get parinoid because not everyone is an online preditor.

      There are many ways to protect yourself from adds that have viruses or viruses all together as well.  When an unwanted add pops up on the computer screen do not click on it unless you know what it is or you have consulted an adult.  The adds could say things like,”You are the 9,999,999 visitor.  Click here to claim your free PSP.”  Those could be potential viruses.  If your computer gets infected with a virus take it to a computer repair person so that they could fix it.  That is better than having to buy a new computer.
